Athens County Transportation Assistance Initiative Assists our patients in the Athens area who don't have a ride or can't afford the cost of transportation to medical appointments or needed treatments.
Bariatric Health Initiative Supports the long-term success of bariatric surgery patients through diet, exercise and lifestyle goals, encompassing various components.	Breast Health Initiative Designated to support uninsured or underinsured patients in need of screening mammograms.
Cancer Center Patient Emergency Funds are designated to support eligible patients who are actively undergoing treatments to maintain patients' quality of life and continuity of care. Support includes transportation to and from appointments, prescribed medications, necessary dental care, along with other necessities as needed.	Community AED Initiative Created to offer community grants for AEDs during Memorial Health Foundation's two grant cycles per year. Eligibility and restrictions are noted on the grant application.
Diabetes Education Initiative Funds are designated to provide a patient-centered experience offering a private or group education sessions that allow adults and children with diabetes to better understand and cope with their disease.	Evergreen Child Development Funds are designated to provide health and safety supplies and equipment for Evergreen Child Development Center.
G.R.A.C.E Employee Assistance Initiative The Giving Relief and Aiding in Catastrophes and Emergency (G.R.A.C.E) Fund was created to provide financial assistance to our valued team members in times of unexpected and catastrophic financial hardships.	Heart and Cardiac Rehab Initiative Funds are designated to assist patients with cardiac recover, transportation, and medical instruments to monitor their heart while home.
Hospice Initiative Funds are designated to provide medication, transportation, medical devices, and comfort care items to improve end-of-life care.	Hounds Helping Heroes Initiative Supports Memorial Health System's therapy dog programs to raise and improve the moral of healthcare workers throughout the system.
ICU Renovation Initiative Funds are designated for the renovation of Marietta Memorial Hospital's Intensive Care and Cardiac Care Unit to provide the next level of specialized care to our most critically ill patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries.	Jim Christy Pediatric Initiative Designed to provide therapy services and supplies including car seats, medications, equipment, and transportation for pediatric patients aged 0-12 in Washington County, Ohio based on need.
Lung Screening Initiative Funds are designed to allow qualified individuals to receive a preventative lunch screening to identity early stages of cancer.	Patient-Centered Caring Initiative Funds are designated to provide medical necessities and assist with transportation for patients in need who are not staying in the hospital but are being seen in physician clinics.
Pediatric Assistance Initiative Funds are designated to provide healthcare supplies, equipment, medication, and transportation for pediatric patients through Memorial Health System based on need.	Pediatric Therapy Initiative Funds are designated to provide need-based programs or education to help children develop, improve, or regain communication and daily life skills and motor functions.
Selby General Hospital Initiative Funds are designated to improve patient experience at Selby General Hospital.	Sistersville Area Transportation Initiative This initiative supports the patients of Sistersville General Hospital and area clinics with transportation to appointments in their area or other Memorial Health System locations.
Sistersville FARMacy Provides support with health food as medicine to help lower the incidence of diabetes in rural communities through education in nutrition and cooking skills.	Social Service Initiative Assists in-patients with purchasing the medications needed for recovery.
Stroke Rehabilitation Support Initiative Provide support for individuals who have survived a stroke or brain injury and their caregivers through support group and structured exercise participation.	Teddy Bear Initiative This initiative provides a complimentary stuffed animal to comfort patients when treated throughout Memorial Health System.
Thomas & Ella Wong Healthcare Scholarship Initiative This initiative awards one or two scholarships of up $1,000 each to high school juniors and seniors who plan to study healthcare in college that meet the criteria requirements.	Transportation Initiative Funds are designated to provide transportation for patients in need to ensure they receive the necessary care throughout Memorial Health System.
